The St Kevin’s College Fathers’ Association (SKCFA) is a vibrant group of dads and mentors who create and support the events that help to genuinely shape our boys’ school experience. We lead by example, showing what it means to support our wider community and to be present for one another. It’s not just about welcoming new dads; it’s about modelling to our boys that we back everyone in our cohort. Whether best mates, distant acquaintances or or even former rivals, at SKC we look out for one another. And honestly, this is one of the most fulfilling and easiest wins for any dad at the school: a simple way to support your son. Speaking personally, I’ve been nothing short of amazed. The goodwill and “IP of the fathers” has become a resource we all share; a unique lens into the classroom, sports field, school events - and how the boys build strong relationships. With a smile and open hands (occasionally on a pair of expertly wielded BBQ tongs!) our fathers show up for one another as we guide our boys on their path toward becoming good men.
